Homemaker Services
Homemaker services are provided to older persons needing help
with light housekeeping tasks.
The service can also provide respite for a caregiver.
The homemaker services are provided by a trained and supervised aide
usually one day per week for an average of 3 hours.
Eligibility Criteria :
60 years of age and older
Cost of Service :
For persons having an income at poverty level there is no charge.
Persons having income over the poverty level pay on a sliding scale
fee after deductions are given for medical expenses.
Service Area :
Floyd, Giles, Montgomery, and Pulaski Counties; Radford City; and
the Towns of Blacksburg, Christiansburg and Pulaski
