The New River Valley Agency on Aging exists to
support and enhance the lives of older adults, their families, and
caregivers through advocacy, information, and services.
Through our website we want to assist you in finding out more about who we are, what we do, and where to turn for the help you may need. The New River Valley Agency on Aging is committed to finding more efficient and effective ways to respond to the needs of older adults and caregivers in the New River Valley.

Inclement weather announcement: The Agency office will be closed on Friday January 22, 2016 and there will be no meal delivery or Friendship Cafe' meeting. The office voicemail will be monitored throughout the day and messages delivered to the appropriate staff member. If an immediate need arises please call 211 for assistance. For medical emergencies please call 911.
The Agency on Aging Board of Directors will meet Thursday January 28, 2016 @ 1pm at the Agency office. Meeting is open to the public.
The Agency will occupy a satellite office located at the Jesse Peterman Memorial Library at 321 West Main Street in Floyd on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month from 10am - 5pm. You may call the main Agency office number to speak to a staff member stationed at the Floyd location (540) 980-7720
